Some patients also opt to use denture adhesive for additional hold. When complete dentures are used for the upper arch, there is typically a piece that covers the roof of the mouth.
• Implant-supported Dentures – These are the Cadillac of dentures. Dental implants are placed strategically into the jawbone to replace the missing roots. (Typically, four to six dental implants are used to support an entire arch of teeth). The dentures are then clipped over the dental implants for a secure fit.
