Dentures in Little Elm
We want to get you smiling again!
Are dentures right for you?
Tooth loss can have a devastating effect on your smile. Dr. Suri offers her patients options for replacement teeth that will suit patients’ needs and get them smiling again. Dentures have been a primary form of tooth replacement for many decades. These removable prosthetics may also be called “false teeth.” While there is an adjustment period after the initial insertion of a new denture, this form of treatment has evolved a great deal over decades of research and design. Whether you need a partial or a full denture, you can count on Dr. Suri’s expertise and for excellent results.
Full dentures
Full dentures, or complete dentures, are made when no natural teeth remain. Full dentures can be planned in one of two ways:
- Conventional denture treatment involves a healing period after unhealthy teeth have been extracted. The final denture will be made once gum tissue has completely healed,.
- Immediate dentures are designed before tooth extraction and are placed immediately following the extractions. Due to the ongoing healing process in which swelling in the gums subsides, several adjustments may need to be made to the denture in order to maintain proper fit.
Partial dentures
Partial dentures are designed to replace only a portion of the arch. Three types of partial dentures are available:
- The full resin denture is somewhat flexible
- The cast partial denture is supported by a metal framework
- The interim partial denture, also called a flipper, may be chosen as a long-term restorative option
Dr. Suri is focused on the tiny details of dentures that achieve the best possible fit and the most natural look. She also educates patients on the care and cleaning that will keep dentures clean and in good repair.
A beautiful, well-fitting denture can restore your smile and chewing function and preserve speech. Due to the vital role of teeth, replacement with dentures provides a way to feel comfortable, confident, and healthy when natural teeth have been lost.
Cost of Dentures
We understand that one of the primary considerations for many people is an out-of-pocket cost. When it comes to the restoration of functionality and the natural look of the smile, we encourage our patients to make the best possible investment into their treatment. There is merit to the statement, “you get what you pay for.” A denture made with high-quality materials is not only comfortable but can last for many years.
At Frisco Elm Dental, we believe in making high-quality dentures that will improve your smile for years to come. Consider this a multi-year investment that you will need to look at and feel good about every day. We don’t compete on price since, like with most things in life, you get what you pay for with dentures. Our goal is to ensure that our patients are happy, and we cannot do that with a cheap, poor-quality denture – we simply refuse to shortchange our patients. Our prices are competitive and we are always focused on the best possible outcome for each patient. Patients may also discuss their options for flexible payments as they plan their procedure.
