Yes, we accept Medicaid and CHIP plans to help with the cost of your family’s care

Frisco Elm Dental understands that toothaches and other dental problems are stressful enough on their own without you having to worry about how to pay for the care that resolves the pain and gets you back to feeling your best. We also know it can be challenging to find a dentist who accepts Medicaid. 

Led by Dr. Vidya Suri, our team prioritizes resolving financial barriers to getting the quality care you need. We believe that all of our neighbors in the Little Elm, Texas area, regardless of their financial situation, should be able to access the care that supports a healthy, comfortable, functional, and appealing smile. 

For this reason, we accept Medicaid, CHIP, and many other dental insurance plans. Any costs that are not covered by your plan can also be financed through our relationship with CareCredit®. 

What Medicaid plans do you accept? 

We accept all of the Medicaid plans available in Texas at the time of this writing. These plans include:  

• DentaQuest
• MCNA 
• Delta Dental 

Do you take adult Medicaid enrollees? 

In some cases, yes. We encourage you to contact us with information about your plan to see how we can help you today. Otherwise, we see patients up to the age of 20 who are enrolled in the Medicaid or CHIP plans mentioned above. As a Children’s Health Insurance Plan, CHIP provides coverage for teens and children in the state who are 18 years old or younger. Children with disabilities who are 19 or 20 years of age in Texas may qualify for Medicaid.

What do these plans cover exactly? 

Not unlike other dental insurance plans, specifics vary. Insurance plans generally cover the cost associated with preventive services and help to reduce the burden of costs associated with restorative treatments, like fillings or crowns. We work with various insurance providers to help with planning treatments and to navigate the often complex insurance process. You always know how much treatment may cost and how much is covered. We are very transparent about our costs and work with companies and organizations to help you receive any and all benefits that are due to you. 

Is there anything I need to do when choosing a Medicaid/CHIP dentist? 

If you or your family are just now enrolling in Medicaid and/or CHIP, be sure to designate Frisco Elm Dental as your dentist of choice. You will just need to provide our address and phone number when enrolling. If you are already enrolled and need to designate a dentist or change dentists, feel free to visit us or call one of the toll-free numbers below and tell them that you would like Dr. Suri to be your primary dentist:
